Recent Doubletree Hotel Tallahassee Review: "A former resident of Tallahassee - I knew the location of the hotel was exactly what I was looking for. Right in the heart of downtown - within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and who wouldn't like being greeted with a warm chocolate cookie! Our room was very comfortable and I felt the cleaning staff actually did a better than expected job. The only negatives I would say are that the elevators are slow & they charge for parking. The hotel parking should be free - especially when they don't close the security arms in the garage - so anyone can park there whether they paid or not!"
