Recent Duval Review: "This hotel is very artsi. Very interesting details from the check in to the room. Must be open minded when it comes to the room, because it is furnished very funky. Quite male in color scheme, but 2 plush robes were available. The 8th floor bar and lounge over looks the city great view, but turned into young black hang out after 9:30. This made it alittle different for the 4 of us who were not either. This is just to let you know go early to view."

Loved the hotel. Employees very friendly and helpful. Great bar at Level 8! Great location to historical sights. Beds extremely comfy, decor fantastic. I just wish they had fans in the bathroom, but loved the rain shower!

A beautiful, newly-updated, classy, sleek, and gorgeous hotel! Quiet, elegantly-appointed rooms. Lovely breakfast area with Starbucks and friendly staff. Absolutely beyond our expectations in every way. Downtown. Even the valet parking area was a pleasure. We highly recommend and will return.

This is going to be be a great hotel when the renovation is done. Staff was very friendly and the room was spotless and comfortable.

Hotel was under renovation and this was not disclosed to us during conversation with reservation desk. We booked through internet at a lower rate than was quoted by reservation desk. Coffee maker did not work. Otherwise we recommend the hotel as reasonable and convenient and clean.

The staff was jovial and welcoming which made up for the rest of the short-comings. For one, do NOT order the Rib-eye special. The "steak" was more like a steak-um than a real steak. It was wafer thin and lacked character or taste of a real steak. The bed was comfortable and I did get much needed rest. Parking is not the most convenient, but as long as you park on the north side of the building, you'll be fine. Enjoy!

STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL, GOOD LOCATION FOR LEON COUNTY CIVIC CENTER, BUT TO FAR TO WALK. WE DID NOT GET THE KING SIZE BED WE REQUESTED, QUEEN BED WAS SAGGING TO THE MIDDLE, AND HOTEL HAD THAT " OLD " SMELL.
