| The management was very helpful with requests. They assisted in printing my airline documents and were very courteous. Good basic value and price. |

| As long as your expectations are reasonable this is a great place to stay within a 15 min walk to the Capitol. Bus service available nearby. Be sure to have number for local cab company handy to help you get around the city without a car: Capital Transportation (ph # not printed to comply w/review policies; look it up!). Rooms had microwave & coffee service. Lobby had small table and simple continental breakfast foods: 2 kinds of cold cereal, milk, orange juice, coffee/tea, and small selection of packaged baked goods.
Friends of mine staying elsewhere (Hotel Duval) paid 3x as much and had upscale rooms but smaller and complained about lack of bathroom privacy from the rest of the room.
The neighborhood seemed safe & quiet; note that the walk along the Apalachee Parkway is not for the faint of heart as sections have minimal shoulders/sidewalks.
Free in-room wifi was acceptable; lobby had someone on duty 24/7. |

| hotel is close to the State Capitol and FSU. the staff wasvery friendly and helpful. Very quiet. Everything was in working order and very clean. I would definately stay here again. |

| My wife and I needed an overnight for a family event and it needed to be close to the capitol. I wanted economy with cleanliness and a secure location. I had a bad experience in an earlier stay with a hotel on Monroe Avenue and did not want to repeat that. This hotel is in a comfortable location and the staff (though small) was both helpful and courteous. The room was clean and although old, it was accomodating. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were definitely clean. I was conceerned about that. I saw no bugs and I looked and the basic creature comforts were there. I would have liked to have an iron and an ironing board in the room, but they had one in the office and since I was right next door it was fine. All in all, we got what we wanted, a clean, comfortable room in close proximity to the capitol and an area free of folks just hanging out. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others. |

| The hotel itself is OK i was given the wrong direction, and was told that it was only 1 mile from
Florida State University. It was actually 3.5 miles
and was given the wrong direction by the receptionist. Took me almost 2 hours to get to the
hotel driving in a circle. |

| I found the desk is covered with ash ash and sand mixture the day we checked in. Microwave broke down once and the guy came and replaced it in 5 minutes, great service. Convenient location but need to be cleaner, especially the desk. |

| older hotel, but freshly painted and very clean. Beds were very hard(as usual) located convienently 2 blocks from the capital. One thing I had never seen, they charged for ice!! fifty cents a bucket!! |

| The walls are paper thin! That's all I really have to contribute. The place is older but decent and clean. The location is great. But good luck sleeping when it sounds like your next door neighbor is in the same room as you! I wish I had brought ear plugs. |
