Recent Springhill Marriott Tallah Review: "My husband and I weren't sure what to expect since the rate was competitive with the other well-known hotels in the area, but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The room was spacious and we loved the modern look. The sitting area was nice when we invited several people over. The bathroom was interesting - I liked the separation of sink/toilet  and sink/shower. And honestly, my favorite thing about the room - which may not apply to everyone, but I will share anyway - even with the bathroom door completely closed, when I got out of the shower, the bathroom was actually cool feeling, the mirror was clear, and there was virtually no steam in the bathroom. And yes, my husband and father laughed at me when I told them about this, but those of you that take long, hot showers and immediately get wet again as soon as you dry off in a steamy hotel bathroom will appreciate this! (Perhaps this is a feature that all Marriott hotels have, but I don't stay in hotels very often and I cannot recall it in any previous rooms I've stayed in.) Anyway, the bench over the A/C unit was a nice touch since those units are usually an eyesore, and I like the closet/drawer combo because I'm not one for bulky furniture. Personally, we had never been to Tallahassee before this trip, but the location was very convenient for us and the surrounding area seemed safe. There were quite a few restaurants within a few blocks which was also nice. All in all, my husband and I were quite impressed. We will be staying in SpringHill Suites whenever we travel from now on."
