| Although, we opted not to receive any maid service, we were greeted, asked about our stay and requested to return by the maid as we were leaving.

| Great price for the hotel and good location everything was clean and office staff helpful however room smelled like smoke and key didn't work at night. |

| Pros: Conveniently located, friendly staff, clean rooms, Jacuzzi tub was wonderful!
Cons: Under coverings were a little worn, Several things missing in room but once the staff was alerted it was taken care of and there were no problems otherwise.
Overall I was pleasantly suprised and plan on staying there each time I visit Tallahassee! |

| Office staff very professional. Housekeeper very rude and ghetto. Mattress had a foul smell to it. At night, gets very rowdy and can barely get a good rest. |

| Room was clean with no odors (smoke, mold etc). Kitchen was adequate - two burner stove, microwave and mid-size refrigerator. Dishes were clean, however the pans were in bad shape. I asked for a different pan and received a brand new one. Toilet and shower were separate from sink which was convenient for multiple occupants. Shower pressure was excellent and there was plenty of hot water. Bathroom vent was extremely noisy but worked well. Heat and AC worked very well. No WiFi but front desk will give you a cable to plug in to the internet. Connection was conveniently located halfway up the wall and right next to a small desk with office type chair. The downside - for some reason the trash truck wanted to empty the container at 5:45 in the morning and it was VERY loud. Not really the fault of the hotel but if I owned the hotel I would ask them to pick up later. There was minor problem with neighbors (yelling) but after I talked to the front desk all was quiet. Almost too quiet so i had to buy a fan for some white noise. Bed was a little too firm for my taste but comfortable enough. I would stay again - if the price was right. My rating: 2.5 stars. |

| Room was spacious and comfortable with bathroom recently redone. Room was very clean and beds comfortable. Our main pupose was to attend Parents Weekend at FSU. Hotel was only 3 or 4 miles from campus--a short taxi cab away. Several restaurants nearby as well. |

| First night a guest next door was talking outside in front of his room and every word was easily heard inside my room. Next night, a Thursday, the trash pickup service started at 1:00 a.m with commercial area behind and across the narrow street and for over an hour the noise was too loud to sleep. On Friday night there was a loud party at the Silver Slipper bar directly across the street that spilled over into the hotel parking lot and was very noisy with people shouting and with auto sound systems at high volumes until another guest called the police a little after 1:00 a.m.
Could not use ear plugs as I worried I would not hear the alarm in the morning. |
